Gerina Dunwich (b. December 27, 1959, Illinois, United States) is a professional astrologer, occult historian, and New Age author, best known for her books on Wicca and various occult subjects. She is also involved in paranormal research and is the founder of the Paranormal Animal Research Group, which investigates cases of alleged hauntings by animal spirits
 

Autumn Equinox Ritual Potpourri

45 drops Honeysuckle Oil
1 cup Oak Moss
6 small Acorns
2 cups dried Oak Leaves
2 cups dried Honeysuckle
1 cup dried Passionflower
1 cup dried Rosebuds and Petals
1/2 cup dried Pine Needles
1 tablespoon Sage

Mix the honeysuckle oil with the oak moss and then add the remaining ingredients. Stir the potpourri well and store in a tightly covered ceramic or glass container.

 

 

Lammas Ritual Potpourri

20 drops clove bud oil
25 drops sandalwood oil
1 cup oak moss
2 cups dried pink rosebuds
2 cups dried red peony petals
1 cup dried amaranth flowers
1 cup dried heather flowers

Mix the clove bud and sandalwood oils with the oak moss and then add the remaining ingredients. Stir the potpourri well and store in a tightly covered ceramic or glass container.

 

 

A Halloween Charm

Recite this charm prior to any Halloween divination or scrying.

Let the sacred fires burn bright.
Let the spirits rise and the moon make her magick.
Behold the shadows as they dance, while the cold wind
whispers its ancient incantations.
Cast the circle and read the signs.
Magick is afoot in the witching hour.
Let the love of the Old Ones light the way.
May the wisdom of the ages through candle-glow and
magick-mirror be revealsed.
And as it is willed, so mote it be!

 

Earth Mother Candle Ritual

 

Imbolc is a time of year when many people celebrate change and growth, and bid farewell to things no longer needed. For this spell, sweep a circle with a broom to symbolically remove the old to make
room for the new. It is also a tradition to burn candles on this night as an offering to the Earth Mother so that her divine power of fertility may soon awaken from its winter slumber and bring forth
springtime. Light a green candle and recite thrice the following incantation

Mother Earth, awaken from your silent winter rest.
Let the springtime goddess of green magic manifest.
Mother Earth, awaken now and hold us to your breast.
We honor thee with love, for we are truly by thee blessed.
